The Terrace, Millennium Hotel

Roasted lamb pulls the crowd

Chef Ammar’s speciality: The juicy and tender roasted lamb.

THE roasted lamb is the biggest draw in the ramadan promotion at The Terrace in Millennium Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Executive Sous Chef Ammar Ibrahim personally prepares this special delicacy.

“This is a recipe I learnt from my mother. It is a family recipe, which has been passed down from generation to generation.

“Preparing it for the last 16 years has given me the time to perfect the recipe and technique,” said Ammar who is a Jordanian.

Using a whole lamb, the meat is marinated for a day with 32 herbs and spices before it is roasted and served with a special sauce.

“This gives the meat a tender texture and juicy flavour,” he added.

The outlet offers a combination of local and Mediterranean cuisine for this Ramadan. With four rotating menus, there will be over 240 dishes on offer.

Some of these are Chicken Bukhara, Ayam Masak Merah, Fish Head Curry, Ketam Masak Bercili, Daging Salai – Kuah Berlemak and more.

Local appetisers and salads such as various Ulam and fruit pickles are also part of the deal.

Also to look out for the outlet’s array of desserts prepared by Chef Zainudin Aziz.

The buffet is priced at RM84++ per adult and RM42++ for a child under 12.

Early birds who purchase the meal vouchers in advance are entitled for a 20% discount.
